Happy Anniversary to Us!

Hey Everybody,
It's been so long since I've been able to just sit down and make a card for my personal use. Everything I do right now is for the classes I'm teaching. But tomorrow is our 18th Anniversary and of course I had to make something special for my husband. I thought I'd share it with you.

This is an image from: http://www.buysassystudiodesigns.blogspot.com/ called "Pirate Penny"

I just love doing fashionistas.

Colors Used as follows:
Sand- E53-31-33-37-57-77

I colored some small crystals with various Copics to mimic jewels. I also put dots of Liquid Pearls in White Opal (which I've decided I do not like this stuff as it is impossible to get the dots rounded-Viva Decor works better).

I really really enjoyed coloring this image.

New Copic Swatch Book Cover Image by Tiffany Doodles

I do have something to show you. Tiffany Doodles released these new digi's of Copic Markers and I thought what a perfect thing to put on the front of my newly revamped Copic Swatchbook. Because the image is exactly the storage system I actually use. It's from Storage3Solutions. Really reasonably priced and all of my markers plus Spicas fit in it. I use my book so much with my classes that my original scrapbook album started falling apart. So I switched it to a 3 ring binder that had clear acetate over the whole thing. I then chose a piece of printed CS that I really like and cut it to slide down in the front, side and back covers. I colored the TD image and matted it and put it on the front and slid it down behind the cover.

It looks really cute. Thanks Tiff.

Hey Everybody!

Hope you are all doing good. It's so hard to find the time to keep up with everything. Blogs, Facebook, artwork + all the other everyday things in life.

I taught 2 more classes last Saturday. One on "Skin, Hair & Eyes" and another on "Shadows & Shading". It is awesome to be able to help people learn to like their Copic Markers.

I can't wait until the newest colors are available. Yeah! On the 12th I will teach a class on "Wood, Bark & Fencing".

I learned a new really really cool way to color backgrounds around your images. It is a kind of watercolor effect. I'm not sure which class I'm going to put it with, but maybe the Fashion Class. It is my new favorite thing to do right now with my markers.

Okay, well if any of you ladies that came to the last classes have any questions, please feel free to email me. Or even send me a pic of your work and I will try to help you any way I can.
